6/29 Monday: Kids’ Night on the Back Patio at New Holland Brewing Company-Join New Holland for highly creative, interactive kids activities on their back patio every Monday! Jump in! Explore ART! 6/30 Tuesday: Historic Graafschap Church Tours- Explore the history and descendants of the Dutch Immigrants who arrived in West Michigan in 1847. 5973 Church St, Holland; 7pm-9pm; Free.
7/1 Wednesday: Hope Summer Repertory Theatre presents “To Kill a Mockingbird” at DeWitt Theatre- Harper Lee’s Pulitzer Prize-winning, To Kill a Mockingbird, comes to life this summer on the DeWitt Stage! This cherished literary classic explores the racial injustice that threatens to divide a community. Through courage and compassion, lawyer Atticus Finch seeks truth and justice, while his feisty daughter, Scout, learns what it means to be an instrument of hope. 7/2 Thursday: Elemental Transformations Exhibit at The Holland Area Arts Council-Professional Muskegon artists Lee Brown, Art Martin, Tim Norris and Hana Sawyer collaborate to create an exhibition unified by the earthly tone of their materials and images. These high-profile career artists work primarily in the greater Muskegon area, but we bring them together in our gallery for a powerful exhibit that abstractly explores pre-settled Michigan. 150 E 8th St, Holland; 10am -3pm; Free.
7/3 Friday: Big Lake Brewing Parking Lot Party- Kick off your 4th of July weekend right and come celebrate our two year anniversary with us! We’ll have plenty of beer, music, food and games. Special tappings throughout the day and specialty bottled beer for sale. This is a 21 and up event, $5 at the door, no charge for Mug Club Members. 7/4 Saturday: Fourth of July Celebration at Kollen Park & Heinz Waterfront Walkway- Celebration Freedom will be Saturday, July 4 beginning at 1pm with kids games, vendors, live martial arts demonstration, live music, all culminating at dusk with Fireworks over Lake Macatawa to the sounds of live music. 240 Kollen Park Drive, Holland; 1pm to dusk; Free.
7/5 Sunday: Sunday Afternoon Glow Bowling at BAM! Entertainment Center- Get in on the Rock & Glow Bowling Show
