ALLENDALE TWP, MI (WHTC) – Ottawa County Deputies were dispatched to a car pedestrian accident yesterday afternoon in Allendale Twp. at Lake Michigan Drive and 48th.
John Morsink, 24, of Grand Rapids was crossing M45 near 48th Ave. when he was struck by an eastbound vehicle. Ottawa County Sgt. Matt Wilfong says the car continued without stopping. The vehicle is described as a small white or silver car, possible a Pontiac and the area was checked and the vehicle was not located.
Morsink was transported to the hospital where his condition remains unknown.
The crash remains under investigation and anyone with any information is asked to call Silent Observer at 1-877-SILENT or the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office.
