DETROIT (WHTC) – Greenville-based attorney Joshua Blanchard has filed a complaint with the Michigan Judicial Tenure Commission, claiming that Hudsonville District Court Judge Kenneth Post allegedly threatened his 23-year-old client. Phillip Mallery skipped a June 12th court appearance, and Post allegedly left a voice mail that Blanchard claimed was inappropriate. Mallery did turn himself in and was released on a personal recognizance bond. Blanchard has asked that Post recuse himself from the case. A decision from the MJTC is not expected for at least a year. Post is not commenting on the matter.
