HAMILTON (WHTC) – The Detroit Tigers have picked a local standout high school pitcher in the Major League Baseball draft. The Tigers took Hamilton High School lefthander Grant Wolfram in the 17th round of the MLB draft Wednesday. Wolfram posted a 9-3 record for the Hawkeyes this season and had already signed a national letter of intent to play baseball next year at Central Michigan. He hasn’t decided whether he will sign with the Tigers or not.
