GRAND HAVEN, MI (WHTC) – The waterfront stadium in Grand Haven is about to get a multi-million dollar overhaul. The proposal has been unveiled to replace the bleachers and install green space and an amphitheater.
The stadium has not changed significantly in the past 50 years, and Mayor Geri McCaleb is supporting spending the three-million dollars on renovations.
Organizers of the project want to have their fundraising completed and work underway by September 2016.
