HUDSONVILLE, MI (WHTC) – Services were this morning for Austin Lotterman, the eight-year-old Hudsonville boy killed when he ran out onto Adams Street near 40th Avenue on Monday evening and was hit by a vehicle. Deputies say that the child didn’t look both ways and failed to spot a westbound car coming at full speed. Despite efforts by the driver to administer first aid, Lotterman died at the scene. The case is being reviewed by the Ottawa County Prosecutor’s office, as all fatal traffic incidents are.
