GRAND RAPIDS, MI – (WHTC) The King and Queen of the Netherlands along with their children, was in Grand Rapids today as part of their tour of the United States. King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima were in Washington D.C. yesterday and met with Predisent Obama,
The Royals visited Devos Children’s Hospital, the Van Andel Institute and Frederick Meijer Gardens with Governor Snyder and his wife Sue.
While at the gardens, they will enjoy a ballet called, “It is Well” performed by Holland’s Turning Pointe School of Dance. The ballet is based on the life of Dutch Resistance fighter Deit Eman who will also be in attendance.
After their visit they will fly to Chicago.
