FERRYSBURG, MI (WHTC) – A 53-year-old Spring Lake man is expected to recover from a Monday afternoon accident involving his moped. According to Sheriff’s Deputies, Donald Crum had stopped for stop sign on North Shore Estates Drive north of North Beach County Park in Ferrysburg when he was thrown from his machine after it was struck from behind by the car of 66-year-old Cathleen LaTour, also of Spring Lake. The unhelmeted Crum was taken to North Ottawa Community Hospital for treatment, while LaTour wasn’t hurt.
