TALLMADGE TWP., MI (WHTC) – A 25-year-old Muskegon motorcyclist suffered critical injuries in a head-on crash south of Marne last evening. Witnesses told deputies that they saw Michael Jones’ machine going at a “high rate of speed” eastbound on Leonard Street, and approaching the curve beyond 24th Street, he crossed the center line and collided with the westbound vehicle of Ryan Burkholder. The helmeted Jones was taken to Spectrum-Butterworth Hospital; Burkholder, a 38-year-old local man, had minor injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
