GENEVA TWP., MI (WHTC) – A traffic stop east of South Haven turned into a foot chase late last night. The 53-year-old suspect, Michael Tunstill, was wanted on an outstanding malicious destruction warrant when his car was pulled over for a lane violation near Baseline Road and County Road 681. As deputies approached, the driver jumped out of the vehicle and started running towards a nearby house, but the officers overtook him quickly. Tunstill is expected to face additional charges stemming from this incident.
