HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Holland’s own baseball team The Holland Millers are ready for the season kicking off on June 1st.
The Millers compete on Hope College’s Boeve field. They participate in the Michigan Summer Collegiate Baseball League against teams from Grand Rapids, Muskegon, Bloomfield and two teams from Detroit.
General Manager Dan Vanden Berg says the team is ready with the additions they have made to the roster and signed their first player in October.
All players in the league are on loan from Diviision I-III college rosters and play in June and July to hone their skills in preparation for the next collegiate season.
Admission is just $5 for adults, $3 for Seniors and kids under 12 are free. All games are at 6 p.m. Monday through Friday with Saturday double headers starting at 1 p.m.
