WEST OLIVE, MI (WHTC) – According to the drafters of the 2015 Ottawa County Community Health Needs Assessment report, “our community” compares favorably to others in most health measures, but feedback from the report reveals that there is room for improvement, especially in the direct relationship between health and both income and education. Since the last report three years ago, more people in the county have health care coverage, but “there doesn’t appear to be a corresponding improvement” in access.
