5/25 Monday: Memorial Day Parade in Downtown Holland- Route begins at 8th St. and College Ave. and travels east towards Columbia Avenue where it will then head south towards 16th Street and ultimately end at the Pilgrim Home Cemetery; 9:30 am; Free.
5/26 Tuesday: Tuesday Open Min Nights At The Park Theater (Every Tuesday) – House Band! Drink Specials! Hosted by Dave Dziuban (Doobie); 8pm- 12pm; $2.
5/27 Wednesday: Chroma and Copper: A Fusion of Sculpture and Paint by Daryl Bruischat and Bette DelVecchio at The Holland Area Arts Council- Bette DelVecchio and Daryl Bruischat use completely different methods and find their inspiration in different places. Their contrasting backgrounds combine to create a unique, lyrical exhibition. This unique composition is made even more special by its short duration. 5/28 Thursday: Trivia at the Curragh- Trivia Night from Team Trivia of Michigan. 73 East 8th Street Holland; 9-11 pm; Free.
5/29 Friday: History Walking Tour: Historic Holland. Starts at the Holland Museum and takes you through the Historic District of Holland. Call 616-796-3329 to reserve your spot! 31 West 10th Street Holland; 10 am; Free.
5/30 Saturday: River Encounter at Window-on-the-Waterfront- These fun, family-friendly canoe and kayak paddles will have the group finding local wildlife, floodplain plant species, and learning about what makes our watershed unique. You will also learn about our Macatawa River Greenway project and what efforts are being taken to protect the Macatawa River and Watershed. The group will meet at the River Avenue entrance of Window-on-the-Waterfront Park. Alternate launch locations may include Windmill Island, Paw Paw Park or Adam’s Street Landing. Boat quantities and number of participants limited. Registration is required.
