CROCKERY TWP., MI (WHTC) – A 73-year-old Grand Haven man was initially listed in stable condition after falling off of his motorcyle near Nunica on Saturday evening. Sheriff’s deputies say that a helmeted George Tountas was westbound on Leonard Street, trying to negotiate a curve around 112th Avenue, when he lost control of his machine on loose sand and gravel. A passerby called 911, and Tountas was taken to Hackley Hospital for treatment. The crash remains under investigaton.
