SPRING LAKE TWP., MI (WHTC) – A 74-year-old Spring Lake Township man and his 75-year-old wife were injured in a two-vehicle crash north of Ferrysburg this afternoon. An SUV driven by Ronald Purcell was pulling out of a driveway onto 174th Avenue north of Van Wagoner Street and pulled into the path of a pickup truck, driven by 30-year-old Jason Slack. Purcell and his wife Beverly were taken to an undisclosed Muskegon hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries, while Slack was not hurt. An investigation continues.
