HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – The Ride of Silence returns to Holland this Wednesday evening at the Holland Civic Center.
Thousands of cyclists worldwide will be riding on May 20th at 7:00 PM, honoring cyclists injured or killed while riding on public roadways. The event raises awareness that cyclists and motorists both need to share the road.
The ride begins and ends from the Holland Civic Center on 8th St. Arrive at 6:30 p.m and be ready to ride at 7:00. Black and red arm bands will be provided. Black to honor a cyclist killed, red to honor a cyclist injured.
Support will be provided by Holland Public Safety/PD. Helmets are Mandatory, lights are recommended. Cross Country Cycles will join the event and provide free basic Safety Checks for any rider who requests this. (NOT a tune-up)
