GRAND RAPIDS, MI (WHTC) – Tickets are still available for the ceremony at Frederik Meijer Gardens honoring King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands when they pay their first visit to the United States on Tuesday June 2nd.
The Royal Couple will make an appearance during a stage performance of the ballet, “It Is Well” performed by Turning Point School of Dance from Holland, which will be performed at 12:30 PM at the Garden’s Sculpture Park Amphitheater.
Tickets are free according to M-Live but more than half have already been allocated to schools and West Michigan residents with strong Dutch ties.
Tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis at Vander Veen’s, The Dutch Store on 28th Street in Wyoming, Calvin College, The Dutch American Council and at select Huntington Bank branches in Meijer Stores in West Michigan including the one on West Shore Drive here in Holland.
Photo ID including legal name and place of residence are required to pick up the tickets and are limited to four per person.
