HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) -The Holland Board of Public Works and Consumers Energy co- host the fifth annual Recycle Rewards collection event tomorrow.
Customers of the two companies can earn $50 each for up to two working freezers and refrigerators and $15 each for up to two working room air conditioners and dehumidifiers.
The event runs from 8am to noon at the Holland Board of Public Works at 625 Hastings Ave. you can also bring other non-working electronic items.
Volunteers from Grace and Hope Churches will collect electronic items like computers, televisions, cell phones and microwaves. The churches work with Comprenew which wipes all the data from the items and does the disassembly and recycling.
The West Ottawa High School Robotics team will be selling Cree LED light bulbs to benefit the program.
