Two Lakeshore Schools Rank in Statewide Report

NEW YORK (WHTC) – Two schools in the Holland/Zeeland area placed among the top 50 statewide in US World and News Report’s annual Best High Schools rankings. Black River Public School was fourth in Michigan and 320^th nationally, while West Ottawa was 42^nd in the Great Lakes State. Jenison, Grand Haven and Plainwell also made the statewide list best on overall student performance in state-required tests, effectiveness in educating least-advantaged students, and results from college placement examinations.
