HUDSONVILLE, MI (WHTC) – A suspended West Ottawa High teacher and coach was been bound over for trial in Hudsonville District Court on three counts of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct. Matthew Powell was suspended by the district when allegations surfaced in March of kissing and touching a 16-year-old female student at a parking lot in Allendale earlier this year. The 34-year-old Powell was a special ed teacher and guided the Panther wrestling team. He is currently free on bond.
