HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – A late-afternoon dedication was at the Holland District Courthouse for artwork that will adorn the stairwell that goes to the second-floor courtrooms. The three murals from over 100 youngsters in the Ottawa County Juvenile Detention Center is meant to convey their views of their community and their places in it. Organizers say that it showed societal ideals including diversity, tolerance and a sense of belonging. An OAISD art teacher worked with the youths on the project.
