GRAND HAVEN, MI (WHTC) – To celebrate this Law Day, a couple of activities were scheduled by the Ottawa County Circuit Court. Students from Corpus Christi Middle School and Baldwin Middle School conducted a mock trial at the County Courthouse in Grand Haven before Judge Jon Hulsing as they learned about the criminal justice process. MSU Law Clinic representatives also came to Grand Haven to offer free legal services for the public, spotlighting the county’s year-round Legal Self Help Center program. On Monday, artwork from over 100 youth in the county’s juvenile justice system will be displayed and dedicated in a 4:30 PM ceremony at the Holland District Courthouse.
