GRAND HAVEN, MI (WHTC) – A 52-year-old woman from “Kent County” is being held without bond in the Ottawa County Jail, charged with the murder of Janna Kelly. Cold Case investigators have been working since last June on the death of the 60-year-old Grand Rapids insurance agent who disappeared in December of 2007 and whose body was found in a wooded area off of 160th Avenue and Pierce Street, south of Grand Haven, three months later. Robin Lynn Root, described as an acquaintance of Kelly, was arrested last night and was arraigned this morning. No futher details were immediately disclosed.
