OTTAWA COUNTY, MI (WHTC) – A two vehicle crash at the intersection of Lake Michigan Drive and 52nd Avenue left a Grand Rapid’s man with non-life-threatening injuries.
Christopher Tilton, 32, of Grand Rapids was making a southbound turn onto 52nd Avenue from the westbound Lake Michigan Drive turn lane and pulled in the path of a 2009 Ford Escape, according to Sgt. Bob Ruster of the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department.
The driver of the Escape, Samathm Schroyer, 26, of Comstock Park was uninjured. Her back seat passenger, 7-year-old Addison Wright, of Comstock Park, was also uninjured.
Tilton was taken to St. Mary’s hospital where he suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Both were wearing their seatbelts and Wright was in a chld restraint at the time of the accident.
