HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Motorists looking to travel along US-31 will find some additional slowdowns around the Tulip City. Beginning today, M-DOT contractors will be resurfacing the highway in both directions between 32nd and 16th streets, including rebuilding the Hamilton Spur rail line south of 24th Street. In addition, crews will be widening northbound US-31 between 16th and Quincy Streets in advance of traffic control for next year’s reconstruction along that stretch. All the work should run through Labor Day.
