HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – The Holland Optimist Club is looking to community support to hold their first event since reforming the club less than a year ago.
A bicycle safety event, complete with an obstacle course, bike registration and safety instruction is planned for 9 a.m. Saturday, May 30, at Hope Church at 77 W. 11th St.
The Holland Public Safety Department-Police will help with registering bikes which Ken Vos, owner of Reliable Sports and Billiards and member says is important is a bike is found or stolen.
Scooters, inline skates and skateboards are welcome to take part in the obstacle course. Riders should be wearing wrist, knee and elbow guards to take part.
