MUSKEGON, MI (WHTC) -Muskegon Bike Time will not be creating a Steel Horse Alley in downtown Muskegon for 2015. They will now be hosting all of it’s events on 90 acres of property formally known as Great Lakes Downs in Fruitport Township.
Muskegon City Manager Frank Peterson submitted a permit to the city that only called for motorcycle parking on Western Avenue. In the years past, Western has been filled with portable bathrooms, food vendors, beverage tents and entertainment.
Bike Time was not comfortable with that so they have abandoned the idea of Bike Time in downtown Muskegon.
The festival is scheduled to take place July 16-19.
