COOPERSVILLE, MI (WHTC) – A Nunica man was killed in a single vehicle crash in Coopersville Tuesday night.
Jacob Sampson, 29, of Nunica was driving a 2003 F-250 east on State street and ran the stop sign at West Randall Street according to Ottawa County Sgt. Steve Austin. Sampson was not wearing his seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The westbound I-96 entrance from State Street was closed because of the crash, but has since re-opened.
The crash remains under investigation.
