HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Lieutenant Governor Brian Calley took the campaign to pass Proposal 1 before the Michigan West Coast Chamber of Commerce this morning. In his annual remarks to a capacity “Early Bird Breakfast” crowd at Hope College’s Haworth Inn, the Portland Republican likened the road funding reform measure to untying a knot of current complexity. The chamber also announced its support of the May 5th ballot measure that most pollsters are predicting will go down to defeat statewide.
