SAUGATUCK, MI (WHTC) – During tonight’s Saugatuck City Council meeting, members will be voting on a variety of requests and contracts, including endorsing a liquor license request by Johnathan and Katie Fris to serve drinks at their new restaurant, “The Southerner,” which will take over the former Elbow Room site off of Holland Street. Council is also expected to support designating the Pump House in the National Register of Historic Places, along with allowing students to decorate steel trash cans at Oval Beach.
