ALLEGAN, MI (WHTC) – A murder is being investigated by the Allegan County Sheriff’s Office. The Holland Sentinel reports that yesterday, police were dispatched to the 1100 block of 26th Street off of M-89 near Allegan. 37-year-old Trowbridge Township man Damon Francis Sheldon was reported missing by the victim’s mother after she found blood inside the home. Police searched the property and the Sheldon’s step brother, 25-year-old Max Dotson was found sleeping in a mobile home on the same property. The police took Dotson into custody and after obtaining a search warrant, was able to dig up the victim’s body on the property.
