More Load Limits Lifted on Lakeshore Roads

UNDATED (WHTC) – More local roads are getting seasonal weight restrictions lifted. Van Buren and Berrien county roads received the all-clear on Monday, while Allegan’s limits end tomorrow. On Monday, Ottawa County roads will be open for all traffic. M-DOT ended restrictions for state trunk lines south of the I-96/I-69 line this week. Despite the recent rains, the early spring thaw has been relatively dry and gradual, easing the stress on roads.
