HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – As boating season arrives, it would be undoubtedly helpful to learn a little safety before taking to the waters. The United State Coast Guard has just announced dates for their boating safety classes, which will be hosted by the Holland Department of Public Safety fire services. During the session, a representative from the coast guard will teach an introduction to boating, information about equipment, boating law, navigation, storage, and other problems. The sessions will be held at the Holland Fire Department and will cost $35 per person. Check out whtc.com for a complete list of dates and times. The Coast Guard will hold several different sessions, scheduled from 6 to 9:30 p.m. on April 14-16, May 12-14, June 22 and 25 and also from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on July 11.
