New Zeeland Rec Director Named

ZEELAND, MI (WHTC) – There is a new Director of Zeeland Recreation, with Brett Geertsma taking over for Michael Kolean, who retires in June after 41 years in Zeeland Public Schools. A Holland Christian and Calvin College graduate, Geertsma comes west from a stint as the athletic director of The Potter’s House Christian High School; his wife is currently a ZPS teacher. He will join Zeeland Recreation on a part-time basis next month while concluding his Potter’s House commitments.
