LANSING, MI (WHTC) – Eight groups involved in a project along the Lakeshore will share one of five Governor’s Awards for Historic Preservation in a May 6th ceremony at the state Capitol Rotunda. M-Dot, the Grand Traverse Band, the Little River Band, the Little Traverse Bay Bands, the Gun Lake Band, the Nottawaseppi Huron Band, the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe and Commonwealth Cultural Resources Group all worked together for the US-31/M-231 Holland to Grand Haven Archaeological Data Recoveries.
