UNDATED (WHTC) – Relatively dry weather conditions for much of this month are apparently starting to have an effect in an increasing number of reported fires. A house off of Red Pine Court in Park Township was fully engulfed in flames when crews responded about 7:45 AM today; nobody was hurt. A business off of 1st Avenue west of Standale also burned around 6:30 AM, with one firefighter mildly overcome by smoke. State DNR officials say most of the Lakeshore is currently under a high risk of fire danger.
