HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Klomp The Record is a Tulip Time event attempting to break the world record for the most people dancing at once in wooden shoes. The dance is May 7th at Centennial Park following the Dutch dancers evening performance. Over 3,000 dancers will be needed to break the record, which is currently held in Pella, Iowa at their Tulip Time Festival.
You will find a video of the dance to practice on the tulip time website and all participants must register and wear wooden shoes to take part.
Proceeds of the event will benefit Bethany Christian Services.
