WRIGHT TWP., MI (WHTC) – Three teens riding a ATV on land north of Marne were injured when their machine flipped over this afternoon. According to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sergeant Steve Austin, 17-year-old Patrick Foster of Grand Rapids was driving two 16-year-olds off of Taft Street west of 32nd Avenue. Foster drove off of private property onto the roadway, attempted to make a u-turn at full speed and rolled the ATV over, causing all three to fall out of the machine. Foster was taken in stable condition to Spectrum-Butterworth Hospital, while the two younger teens were treated at the scene for bumps and bruises. The crash remains under investigation.
