ALLEGAN, MI (WHTC) – Employees at Allegan Metal Finishing were informed the fire that destroyed the business has left them unemployed. Rebulding will not be an option until the cause of the fire is determined.
Michigan Works is doing everything they can to help find new jobs for the 100 plus employees. Some of them have been working there for decades, with some starting straight out of high school.
A job fair is planned for this Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Allegan to see if they find new jobs for some experienced employees.
