HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – The 16-year-old Downriver Detroit diver pulled from the Holland Community Aquatic Center pool during the state high school championships last Friday is reportedly still in critical condition at DeVos Children’s Hospital. Nolan Gutenschwager of Wyandotte Roosevelt had an apparent seizure in warm ups ahead of the preliminaries, according to his coach. Northview High Coach Kurt Mirandette, who suffered a heart attack after administering first aid to the stricken diver, should be released from Holland hospital today. The event was held as scheduled on Saturday, with Birmingham Seaholm winning the team title.
