GEORGETOWN TWP., MI (WHTC) – A 26-year-old Jenison woman was killed when her car struck a garbage hauler head-on west of Hudsonville before dawn. Investigators think that Rebecca Trevino may have dozed off behind the wheel when her northbound vehicle veered across 48th Avenue, a quarter mile past New Holland Street, and collided with the southbound truck, which then careened into a ditch. The woman died at the scene; the 43-year-old trucker from Hudsonville, Brian Jennings, was not injured.
