HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – A public meeting on proposed improvements to Holland’s Paw Paw Park is this evening at 7 PM in the city’s Parks and Cemeteries Office off of East 24th Street. Ottawa County is in the process of working out a 35-year lease with the City for the 50-acre site, an effort for more efficiently operating the park that is adjacent to the county’s Macatawa Greenspace Park. A grant request to the state DNR for renovating the existing picnic shelter, trail upgrades, additional parking and a play area is considered.
