HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – At its monthly meeting, the West Michigan Airport Authority was told that closing on land needed for a new Business Center at West Michgian Regional Airport will be by the end of March, with plans for groundbreaking of the 1.8 million-dollar project set for late summer. It’s part of a 5.5 million-dollar building effort that includes a 2.3 million-dollar apron, paid mostly from state or federal dollars, with the Authority handling the costs for the business center. Authority members also named former Holland Assistant City Manager Greg Robinson as WMAA Manager; he had been serving in an advisory position since his retirement from City Hall last year.
