SAUGATUCK, MI (WHTC) – During tonight’s Saugatuck City Council meeting, members will be asked to approve an ordinance amendment that would allow outdoor restaurant seating, along with guidelines for eateries that wish to accommodate customers in this way. City planners held a public hearing on the matter last summer and are recommending this change. Council members will also discuss, but take no action on this evening, a dispute with neighboring Douglas over retaining a firm to conduct a harbor study.
