-HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – The Historical Association of South Haven is sponsoring a contest to support Save the Light, a restoration project for the lighthouse. Entries include poetry, vignettes and art images and must be received by March 23rd.
A chapbook called, “Lighting Out Harbor, Preserving Our Past” will showcase the entries. One winner will receive a $100 prize, a copy of the book and two tickets to the fundraising event at the South Haven Yacht Club on May 7th.
Submitters may email their works to thristypoet@gmail.com with a $5 entry fee covering up to two entries to Lighthouse Chapbook Entry, 308 Kalamazoo St., South Haven, MI 49090. Checks should be made out to HASH.
