Motus Acquires Firm with Grand Rapids Presence

HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – A spinoff of part of Johnson Control’s Holland operations has acquired a parts supplier that has a Grand Rapids factory. No terms were disclosed involving Motus Integrated Technologies’ absorbing of Leon Automotive Interiors, which makes decorative soft-trim interior components. Motus took over JCI’s headliner and sun visor manufacturing at the 48^th Street facility in Holland, and company officials say that Leon will continue to do business as a stand-alone subsidiary of Motus.
