GRAND HAVEN, MI (WHTC) – A 29-year-old Holland man was sentenced to a year in jail. Moises Castillo could have received a prison stretch as a repeat offender, but he pleaded guilty to felony assault charges stemming from an August 19th incident in which he stabbed an unnamed 28-year-old man during an altercation outside of a residence off of 18th Street and Columbia Avenue. The victim, wno was known to Castillo, suffered wounds to the head and chest, but was treated and released from Holland Hospital.
