GRAND RAPIDS, MI (WHTC) – The Zoo is open and there is a master plan in place that will enhance the Zoo over the next 25 years.
Phase one includes new habitats in the entryway for black bears. The project slated to cost around $50 million will come from private donations according to Zoo officials.
