Grand Rapids, MI (WHTC) – Grand Rapids Community College is getting nearly three-million-dollars from the state Economic Development Corporation. The money will be used to buy equipment and expand workforce development programs. MLive.com reports the machine tooling lab will be expanded, new vehicles will be added to the automotive technician program, and a craft brewing program will be created. The college is contributing almost one-million-dollars in matching funds.
