GRAND JUNCTION, MI (WHTC) – A 40 year old Bangor woman is dead after a crash on a snowy roadway in Allegan County yesterday. Allegan County Sherriff’s deputies were called to 56th street north of 102nd Avenue in Lee Township Near Pullman about 4pm.
When police arrived, they found the driver Cindy Rosales, dead. The driver of another vehicle involved in the crash, a 53 year old Allegan man, suffered minor facial injuries.
Rosales lost control and spun into another lane and into the path of an oncoming pick up truck. Police say the roadway was snow-covered at the time of the crash.
Captain Frank Baker in a news release says conditions were not extremely bad at the time and there is no reason as to why the vehicle went out of control.
Rosales was not wearing a seatbelt at the time which contributed to her fatal injuries and an autopsy will be conducted to determine whether a medical issue contributed to the crash.
Police say neither drugs or alcohol were involved in the crash.
